The Steel Engineering Development Company was established in 1981 to develop and provide custom manufactured lift and escalator stainless steel finishes. SED is now widely recognized as the leading manufacturer for stainless steel finishes through out the Gulf, being an approved vendor to the world's largest manufacturers.

SED has recently moved to a new facility in the Al Quoz Industrial Area (4th) in Dubai, where our Design and fabrication team are constantly required to adapt to specific customer needs offering designs and manufacturing solutions taking the project from drawing board to reality using the latest CNC technology.

In addition, SED believes in combining and developing a number of materials such as wood, glass, etched stainless steel etc. offering innovative custom manufactured finishes for the commercial and private fit-out sector to the highest standards of finish and quality.
